August 17, 2009 - Harvest Celebrity Auction Committee meeting
at Redwood, 6:30pm. Pot luck dinner ~ please bring a dish to share.
August 24, 2009 - Board Meeting at the home of Joyce Burdick,
6:00pm. All members are welcome to attend. We will also be assembling
the backpacks so please bring your school supplies with you.
Sept. 1, 2009 - Important date change from 9/2/09. Due
to a calendar conflict, the date of the meeting has been changed to
9/1/09. Membership business meeting at the home of
Carole Williamson.

meeting to follow. Our guest speaker will be Charlotte Ford ~
Founder/Director of
Pocketful of Joy, providing
healthcare and educational opportunities to children in northern
Tanzania.
Nov. 22, 2009 - Annual fun activity of putting together
Thanksgiving Baskets to be donated to area towns and the domestic
violence shelter. Will be held this year at the home of Joyce Burdick,
1:00pm. Please start collecting Thanksgiving food items to bring.
Nov. 30, 2009 - Board Meeting at the home of Joyce Burdick,
6:00pm. All members are welcome to attend. Charity Ball committee
meeting will follow the board meeting.
Dec 2, 2009 - Holiday Party ~
The University Club, 184 Club Rd, North Windham, CT. (the Old
Willimantic Country Club), 6PM Cocktails with dinner at 7:00pm. All
Soroptimists and guests are invited. $30.00 per person. We will also
be collecting items for the soup kitchen.
